CRAFTED Participant Waiver, Safety Acknowledgment & Release of Liability

CRAFTED is an interactive experience that may include ceramic plate throwing, a guided group yell or scream for stress release, hands-on mosaic art creation, music, food or light bites, and optional wine-based cocktails.

By participating in CRAFTED, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

 

Voluntary Participation

I understand that my participation in CRAFTED and each individual activity offered during the experience is completely voluntary.

I may choose not to participate in any activity, including the plate-throwing activity, group release yell, mosaic activity, or consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Plate-Throwing Activity

I understand that CRAFTED may include throwing ceramic plates or similar ceramic items within a designated activity area.

I understand that broken or damaged ceramic may create sharp edges, fragments, flying pieces, or debris that may cause cuts, scratches, punctures, falls, or other injuries.

I agree to:

• Follow all instructions provided by the CRAFTED team.

• Throw ceramic items only in designated areas.

• Never throw an item toward another person.

• Wait for direction before entering or approaching the designated throwing area.

• Remain behind any designated safety barriers unless instructed otherwise.

• Wear any protective equipment provided or required for participation.

• Avoid touching broken ceramic unless specifically instructed to do so.

I understand that CRAFTED may stop me from participating if I fail to follow safety instructions or engage in behavior that could place myself or another person at risk.

Mosaic Art Activity

I understand that the mosaic art activity may involve ceramic, glass-like craft materials, tiles, tools, adhesives, or other materials that may contain sharp, rough, or irregular edges.

I agree to use all materials and tools only as instructed and to exercise reasonable care while participating.

I understand that minor cuts, scratches, irritation, or other injuries may occur despite reasonable safety precautions.

Group Release Yell

I understand that CRAFTED may include a guided group yell, scream, or vocal release activity.

Participation is voluntary.

I understand that the activity may involve loud sounds and that I may step away, cover my ears, or decline participation if I am uncomfortable with loud noise or have any physical, medical, sensory, or personal concern that could make participation inappropriate for me.

Alcoholic Beverages

I understand that CRAFTED may offer optional wine-based cocktails or other alcoholic beverages.

If I choose to consume alcohol, I confirm that I am legally permitted to do so and understand that valid government-issued identification may be required.

I agree to consume alcohol responsibly.

I understand that CRAFTED may refuse or discontinue alcohol service to any participant at its discretion, including if the participant appears intoxicated, is behaving unsafely, cannot provide appropriate identification, or is otherwise not eligible to consume alcohol.

I agree not to provide alcoholic beverages to anyone who is under the legal drinking age.

I understand that consuming alcohol is voluntary and is not required in order to participate in CRAFTED.

I understand that I am responsible for arranging safe transportation and agree not to drive while impaired.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in CRAFTED involves inherent and foreseeable risks, including but not limited to:

• Cuts, scratches, or punctures

• Contact with ceramic fragments or sharp mosaic pieces

• Flying debris

• Slips, trips, or falls

• Contact with craft materials, adhesives, or tools

• Loud noise

• Accidental contact with other participants

• Property damage

• Injuries associated with participation in the activities

• Risks associated with consuming alcoholic beverages

I voluntarily choose to participate despite these risks and accept responsibility for my own participation and conduct.

Health & Personal Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically and personally able to safely participate in the activities offered.

If I have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, sensory sensitivity, mobility limitation, or other concern that may affect my ability to participate safely, I understand that I should use my own judgment and may choose to modify or decline participation.

I understand that CRAFTED staff are not medical professionals and cannot determine whether participation is medically appropriate for me.

Emergency Assistance

If I experience an injury or medical emergency during CRAFTED, I authorize event staff to contact emergency medical services when reasonably necessary.

I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses associated with treatment or emergency services provided to me

.

Conduct & Safety

I agree to behave responsibly and respectfully toward other participants, staff, volunteers, vendors, and venue personnel.

CRAFTED reserves the right to restrict or end my participation in any activity or remove me from the event if my behavior is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, excessively intoxicated, or inconsistent with event safety instructions.

Personal Property

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings during the event.

To the extent permitted by law, CRAFTED and its associated organizations are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property.

Release of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate in CRAFTED, I voluntarily assume the risks associated with the activities and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, release and hold harmless CRAFTED, Fierce Studios & Ventures, Fierce Females, event organizers, owners, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, vendors, participating venues, and their respective representatives from claims arising from the ordinary and inherent risks associated with my voluntary participation in the experience.

I understand that this acknowledgment does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Photo & Video Consent

Photography and video recording may take place during CRAFTED for social media, website, promotional, educational, or marketing purposes.

Please select your preference separately on the booking form.

​

Choosing not to consent to intentional photography or recording will not prevent me from participating in CRAFTED.

I understand that CRAFTED will make reasonable efforts to honor my preference, although I may unintentionally appear in the background of general event photography or group footage.
